Durisan travel size hand sanitizers are a safe, travel size, alcohol-free spray hand sanitizer that provides a solution for hand and surface for up to 24 hours. Durisan contains benzalkonium chloride, an active ingredient found in many consumer products such as: wet wipes, shampoos, deodorants and cosmetics. An advantage of benzalkonium chloride, not shared by ethanol-based antiseptics or hydrogen peroxide antiseptic, is that it does not cause a burning sensation when applied to broken skin. Benzalkonium chloride is also used in many non-consumer processes and products, including as an active ingredient in surgical disinfection.
