EASY, ONE PERSON INSTALL (OR REMOVAL) IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! STEP 1: You should already have a gooseneck ball installed in the bed of your truck. Remove the pin from the lower tube on the Andersen 3220 Hitch, and place the hitch directly over the gooseneck ball. There will be arrows on the hitch itself telling you which way the hitch should face, but the ball on the Andersen 3220 should be closest to the tailgate. Side Note: The funnel ball hook-up will need to be installed on your trailer. This can be done yourself, or your trailer dealership can do it for you. This will only ever need to be done one time. STEP 2: Loosen the two front bolts. Then, adjust the top bolt on the hitch, which will raise or lower the tube. Set the height so the hole is below the ball. Now put the pin through the hole and secure the clip. Using a torque wrench, tighten the top bolt to 60 foot-pounds, then the two front bolts to 60 foot-pounds of torque. Stop when you hear the wrench click. STEP 3: That's it! Your new 5th wheel hitch is installed! Very simple to install AND remove so you can easily use your full truck bed when you don't need the 5th wheel hitch.
