Two thin leaves of flexible steel insert into the caliper between the rotor and pad, spacing the pads evenly and aligning the caliper with the rotor. To use, simply loosen the caliper bolts, then insert the tool. After tightening down the caliper bolts, removal of the tool will result in evenly-spaced pads and no more brake rub! The two leaves fold into the tool body after use for protection. The body of the tool is made of long-lasting, bead-blasted anodized aluminum.
