This is important because the green hull contains up to 10 times the amounts of juglone, an essential ingredient in the tincture. Our hull to alcohol ratio is 1:0.68. that's 1 part hull to 0.68 part 40 percent grain alcohol (the alcohol level in the finished tincture is less).
