Description
Build a working catapult that can fling a clay ball over 13 feet! This wooden catapult model is based on Leonardo da Vinci's designs from around 1485, and uses the spring-like energy stored in bent wood to give power to the swing arm. Add this to a make-believe medieval battle scene, use it as a school project for math, science or history class or just have fun making it and seeing what it can do! Best of all, there are no batteries or tools necessary; just a ruler (sold separately) and approximately an hour of free time!
Includes: paintable, uncoated wood pieces from sustainable forests, glue, clay, string, and detailed instructions.
Winner of the 2013 Top Toy of the Year Award from Creative Child Magazine!
Measures approximately 10" high, assembled (not including arm).
