Our pine gum rosin is derived from slash pine trees (pinus elliottii) growing
in south Georgia, USA, using sustainable forest practices. We harvest the raw
pine gum ourselves. Then, we fire distill the raw gum right here on our farm
using basically the same methods used for hundreds of years. Finally, we
package, label, and ship our products all by hand. Attention to detail is
paramount in our business. Our goal is to maintain the historical integrity of
pure gum spirits of turpentine and pine gum rosin while also providing our
customers with premier products they can afford. Our pine gum rosin, also

rosin is not listed as a food-grade item and therefore is not for internal
use. Please note that during the hot Summer months, this product may melt and
re-solidify during shipping. Our rosin is an organic compound, and we do not
add any chemicals to alter the softening point. This means that it may arrive
in a more solid mass, with a bit darker color than is pictured. This will not
change the composition of the rosin. If it's important to you that the rosin
be in a powdered, pebble, or rock form, then you may wish to place orders
during the cooler months.
