Sept 2018) is an updated version of our original Carbonator that was launched
in late 2016. Making sparkling water at home has never been this elegant. The
Aarke Carbonator II is designed from the inside and out to become the slimmest
and most compact sparkling water maker in the world. The Aarke Carbonator II
is the second generation of Aarke Sparkling water makers. Our engineering team
has made this test winning machine even more robust and smooth to use, while
keeping the signature look intact. New updated packaging also provides a much
smoother ride during shipping. The machine is designed with a complete
stainless steel enclosure. So forget the plasticky soda makers of the past.
The Carbonator II will look beautiful for years to come on your countertop.
The function is very simple. Just fill the bottle with cold water, screw the
bottle into the machine, pull the lever down and you are done! It could not be
simpler. Say hello to the new Carbonator II. Who is AARKE ? Aarke means
âeverydayâ in Southern Sami, a language spoken by only 500 people in the north
of Sweden. The Aarke brand was founded by two industrial designers, Jonas
Groth and Carl Ljungh, with the objective to design, produce and sell premium
household appliances, a category that has been forgotten by the design
community. Read more As easy as 1,2,3 ! FILL Fill the Aarke water bottle to
the "fill line" that is marked on the bottle. Be sure to only use pure water
and never try to carbonate any other liquids. The water can be any temperature
but we recommend refrigerated water as it takes the gas better. Simply screw
the bottle onto the machine until it is tight. CARBONATE To carbonate the
water you simply pull down the handle and you will see the gas release into
the bottle. You hold down the handle until you hear a sort of "burp" sound...
that means it is complete and you simply release the handle. This process can
be done in as quick as 2 seconds. Timing depends a little bit on how full your
Co2 tank is. If you are looking for more bubbles in your water you can repeat
this step as many as 2 more times ... everyones preference is different. Try
one pull and then see if that slight / soft bubble works for you; if not kick
it up with another pull. Eventually you will know what you like and have
determined if you a 1,2 or 3 pull individual! ENJOY! Unscrew the bottle and
enjoy the bubbles. If you want to add some flavour; do so only in the glass or

plastic Every minute, one million plastic bottles are sold around the world.
Only 9% is recycled. The rest ends up in the oceans or in landfills. One Aarke
water bottle can replace thousands of single use plastic bottles. So if youâre
regularly drinking sparkling water, an Aarke machine can seriously reduce the
size of your recycling pile. And by the way, you are also eliminating a whole
supply chain of transporting the water from the production facility to its end
users. The transport of the Co2 cylinders has a fraction of the impact on the
environment compared to transporting bottled water. Home carbonation is not
only cheaper and more convenient. It also contributes to a better environment.
Read more Need more bottles? Each machine comes with one (1) of our PET
plastic bottles in the box. We highly recommend having 2-3 bottles depending
on the size of your household. The Co2 gas gets absorbed to cold water better
so we suggest refrigerating the water prior. Extra bottles are available as a
separate purchase. Also note that PET bottles all have expiration dates on
them. They should never we put in a dishwasher and they need to be replaced

Power Cords ... How does it work? The Aarke Sparkling Water Maker is powered
by a Co2 cylinder that you screw into the machine. The pressurized gas is
released and it is what brings life to the machine and provides your water
with the sparkle you desire. Our machines DOES NOT come with a Co2 cylinder.
This must be purchased separately if you do not already have one. We recommend
the Sodastream 14.5oz (60L) cylinder as it is the most readily available
option in the USA. When you first buy a cylinder(s) it costs a little more
money; but after the initial purchase you are then refilling (exchanging) the
cylinder and the cost is cut in half. We also recommend owning 2 of these
cylinders so when one goes empty you give yourself a little time to exchange
