The Worlds First Tester designed for smart testing of Earth Mine natural
colorless diamond (D-J) type Ia, Ib from Lab created CVD/HPHT Type IIa
colorless mounted or loose diamond, with new display technology. For use on
mounted diamonds and loose diamonds. The Screen-I can detect natural colorless
diamonds, colors D to J. It also screens between earth-mined diamonds Type Ia,
Ib and Lab Created Diamonds HPHT (High Temperature) and CVD ( Chemical Vapor
Deposition) Type IIa. The Diamond Industry has entered a critical stage where
synthetic and treated diamonds Type IIa are nearly indistinguishable from
earth mined diamonds. High Temperature (HPHT) processes are used to enhance
the natural color of earth mined diamonds while Chemical Vapor Deposition
(CVD) synthetic diamonds are sold, sometimes with-out seller disclosure.
Testing procedures: This tester can be powered by either the USB Port, Power
Adapter or Batteries Through the micro-USB port on a computer or any standard
USB adapter with 5V dc Power output Four AAA (Triple A) Batteries are
required. Recommended are Alkaline Batteries, approximate use time is 150
hours of continuous operation time. Battery compartment on the bottom of the
unit. 1. Press the power ON/OFF button (back of tester). Smart Switch
will light up with green color and a quick "beep" sound. 2. Remove front
plastic dust cover. 3. Place mounted colorless stone and align to the center
of the test platform. / loose colorless stone- align. 4. Close the lid cover
completely, then testing will automatically start. 5. You can touch the Smart
Switch "TEST" to a do another test. 6. The indicator will beep and flash if a
diamond/CVD/ HPHT
